244 LONG WOODEN BOW - bearing gold decoration.

POSITION:    
Original. Lying on ground, south side, beside shrine 238 with
groups 243 and 245

DIMENSIONS:
L. 191 centimetres.

DESCRIPTION:
A long plain wooden bow decorated with sheet gold at the ends
and centre. Had been wrapped in linen tied in several places. 
Remains of bow-string
Ornamentation on gold <> collars terminating the gold sheaths
Wood badly eaten in places by insects
TREATMENT:
Cleaned with damp sponge. Gold refastened where loose with
glue
Bow-string treated with duroprene.
