MATERIAL OF WHICH COMPOSED

PALETTE: Ivory COLOURS: Only the white, yellow red and black have been examined. The white is not carbonate of lime but probably sulphate of lime+, the red is red ochre and the black, carbon. The yellow is probably orpiment+ (sulphate of arsenic). TREATMENT: Cleaned palette with alcohol.
