the moves of one of the two games on the box were evidently
denoted by the value of the cast, when thrown, of these four
sticks (teeb plural) in accordance with rules and regulations
- the black or white sides upon which they fall being taken
into account - different throws or each combination of the
throws receiving distinctive names or values (see Games; E. W.
Lane, The Manners & Customs of the Modern Egyptians).

Note
The only playing-pieces (draughtsmen) that have been found
which may possibly belong to the game-boards, are: -
4 faience pieces of <> form; and 4 faience pieces of <> form;
that were scattered in the Antechamber - their workmanship
does not seem to coincide with the fineness of the game-box
and its stand, and one wonders whether they really belong.
