Treatment
Cleaned painted necklace with benzine
Cleaned gilt with ammonia and water
Cleaned black varnish with water
Treated repeatedly with solution of celluloid dissolved in
acetone - this to fix the black


Inner coffin
Cleaned with ammonia & water
Treated with celluloid in amyl acetate
