Handlist description: Alabaster (calcite) canopic box on sledge covered with linen sheet

Sheet covering the alabaster canopic box. Dimensions about 150 cms. wide, and 450 cms long. Much creased and crumpled. Shew finger-marks and stains from some liquid, also splashes of bees-wax. Was deteriorated to a dark-brown colour, and far too decayed to allow of preservation.
