shoulder blades, smellers, and tuft on end of tail, are engraved
and filled in with black pigment.
The head-rest is made of two pieces of ivory, joined at the
centre of the torso of the figure Shu, where they are dowelled
with a rectangular piece of wood and pinned with gold nails.
The central pillar (formed by the figure of Shu) shows on the
spreading base the usual facets as if it were an octagonal
column.
