(ff) The two ends of a tasselled belt

This was tapestry woven with elaborate designs, in panels which were outlined with white thread. The panels next either end contained two cartouches, one <>, the other <>

The belts were from 6.5 - 7 cm wide.

Tasselled ends were about 11 long, actual tassel being about 2 long

The tassels were tied round with white thread.

(To be noted in more detail later ).

Treatment: Sprayed with solution of celluloid in amylacetate.
