Two pieces of a tapestry woven garment (hood?). Colour of the threads and exact pattern(?)

Feathering of the winged disk in raised ridges, made by sewing round the outlines. Almost similar to smocking in appearance.

Decorated at intervals of about 3 cm. with gold sequins, 1 cm. in diam., with three threading holes. The tapestry woven cloth was backed with very finely woven plain cloth.

This piece represents one side of a garment similar to (cc), i.e. a child's hood?

The other piece, much smaller, came from the other side.

Treatment: Sprayed with solution of celluloid in amylacetate.
