43 (e) Linen gauntlet.

Right hand(?) gauntlet of linen. Type cp. 50 (u). Not lined. cp. also 79 (u 8) From dotted line downwards open. Seam round inside finger stalls. Linen cord 1.5 mm. in diam. sewn to sides below opening and to bottom. 2 linen cords attached to bottom edge, circ. 3 from sides. Another sewn to centre of back above flap. There were strips of linen folded to a width of about .3 and oversewn.

Treatment. Sprayed with solution of cellulose acetate in acetone
