Sphinx with King's head in lapis lazuli.

This sat on top of some object with a curved top. Base was cut away .2 from edge all round, and .1 deep, in order to inlay it. In addition there was a round peg hole in the centre, another running up from bottom into chest, & a lateral peg hole running in from tail a distance of 1.3.

Treatment Soaked in water to remove dirt.
