A. Folded over edge. To it attached a piece of braid .7 wide; sewn at edge so that braid projected. B. ? may have been open. It was a finished end anyway, and there was at any rate one braid attached. C. Two edges of cloth, open. To each a similar piece of braid attached. D. Torn. May conceivably have been something in the nature of a sleeve.

The other was a similar piece 34 cm. long, one end torn, other ending in a single braid (?).

Treatment. Sprayed with a solution of cellulose acetate in acetone
