44 (m) Oddments of cloth. 27

Odd pieces of linen, found close together near top of box. (1) Strip, about 2.5 cm. wide, torn from the edge of a piece. This roughly twisted to a cord, and ends tied together, in a triple knot. S. Kensington box. Length as tied about 110 " " " (2) Two wider strips, tied together in a single knot. (3) Torn piece of very fine weave, about 20 long. Tape border sewn to one edge, .4 wide. (4) Other miscellaneous torn fragments. }Not kept.

Treatment. Sprayed with a solution of cellulose acetate in aceton.
