44 (o) Scarab of gold & blue glass 32

Large scarab of gold & blue glass, made up of several elements. Base of two sheets of gold soldered together. Size 5.2 x 3.9 max. x .2 thick. To either end of rim a suspension ring soldered, 2.5 mm. in diam, .8 long. Inscription At top sun disk, flanked by uraei, with pendant ankhs. Centre figure, King with atef crown. In front of head cartouche (Kheperu-neb-re). In front of King, holding him by hand with right hand, & presenting ankh to his mouth with left, a figure of Horus. Above him <> In front of him <>

Behind King, figure of Tum, holding Kings' hand with his left, raising right behind Kings' head. Both Horus and Tum wear corselets.
