45: Alabaster (Calcite) Ewer of stand.

1. Position On lion bed, next to Box 44.

2. Dimensions H. overall, with lid, 29.5 Stand 11.2 square x 7 high. Diam at lip 10: length at neck 1.5 Diam. at shoulder 12 Lip on separate piece <> 6.5 " at bottom 9.2 Height of ewer proper 13. Jar one piece Stand one piece.

3. Description Lid <> 2.2 down Diam. 1.5 Length of under projection 2.2 Hole at top goes down 6.5 only & narrows. Underneath jar an irregular hole perforating up to connection with spout. Tiny perforation in side, 7 down from spout, also connecting. Ewer Spout, made in a separate piece, <> Top comes on level with bottom lip ring. Length 2. Oval in section 1 x 1.5 at end.
