Of coarse linen. Bottom a separate piece joined on, with a seam 1 wide. Bag sewn up on side, with a seam .5 wide, and very wide stitching. Turn over seam .5 wide at top, reinforced by cord .3 in diam. stitched round, about 1.5 between stitches. Handle of same cording, knotted at the top. Zigzag decoration bands about 3.5 wide. Made in the weave. Must presumably have been different colours originally, but no trace of colour left now. In very bad condition: only samples of it could be preserved.
