48 (l) Simple bow

L. 171.5 Diam in centre 2.8, tapering to 1.5 at ends Made of a hard wood, of dark reddish brown colour. No notch. At ends bands of gold leaf on gesso. Similar band in centre, from which gold had been removed. Starting 2.5 from centre band, on outside, a cartouche incised & filled with blue paint. <> Washed with damp sponge. Ends sprayed with celluloid in amyl acetate.
