Stick of light brown wood. Oval in section. Top and bottom bands of gold on gesso. On bottom band incised inscription, reading from bottom up. (see separate sheet). On top band on either side incised figure of two captives, one each side.

Short stick of heavy dark knobbly wood. L. 93. At top band of gold leaf 11.5 wide. At bottom " " " " 3.5 wide: On top edge of this a narrow band of thicker gold with pattern. This was loose & was stuck on with celluloid cement.
