52. Reed pad

Position N. end of chamber: on pedestal of Statue 22.

A circular pad of reed, 18 in diam., 5 wide, about 2 thick: similar to pads modern women use to carry water jars on head. Made of reed lengths bent to a circle and bound round & round with strips of the same material.
