Makeweight (?) cont. On upper edge at intervals of 1 cm. soldered threading rings. Pierced in lower edge 18 holes. From these depended strings of 24 beads of <> shape, order being, blue glaze, gold, red glaze, gold, green glaze, gold, etc. These strings ended in pendants (several missing) of carnelian <> green felspar <> and blue glaze <>. Presumably the carnelian came in the middle, the papyrus & lily of north & south in groups on either side. These pendants were fastened to the strings by means of gold pins with caps on ends, & threading holes at top. (cont.)
