Scarab of very heavy gold plate, with carnelian disk & blue glass <> attached to form cartouche. Made in two shells soldered together. Legs soldered on separately, with exception of hind legs? Disk a separate piece soldered to head of scarab. In three constituent parts (1) a hollow cup or tray. (2) a carnelian disk. (3) a hollow cup of gold into which carnelian disk was inlaid, (2) & (3) thus assembled were then inlaid into (1). Suspension ring, soldered to base of disk at back. This was 1.0 in diam. & .8 wide.

Neb sign. Hollow tray of gold into which the glass was inlaid. Round lower edge there had been an extra band of gold. .4 wide, but this had all disappeared except at upper
