65. Arrows and strip of papyrus.

1. Position On ground by NE leg of middle bed.

2. Description Group consisting of (a) 5 reed arrows circ. 72 long. From each the metal head had been snapped off. Feathers all broken away. These presumably came originally from Box 50. Now packed with the arrows from that box.

(b) Length of a large reed, split open and flattened. L. 28.5 cm. Ends cut square: therefore this was a definite length for some purpose. May have belonged to a mat.
