76 Gilt Wood Sistrum

1. Position On top of cow couch.

2. Dimensions L. 52 W at top 7 Centre panel 7.2 x 4.7 x 5.8 Column. diam 3.8 at top, 4.3 at bottom. Wood at top .2 thick Bronze uraeus wires .3 in diam.: flat heads .9 wide. Three squares of bronze on each 2.2 x about .05 See next card.

3. Description Top part plain wood covered with gold leaf. Centre panel & column thin layer of gesso on wood, overlaid with gold. No inscriptions.

Treatment As for 75, except the handle did not require fixing in.
