Gauntlet made of three or four thicknesses of cloth, sewn up on either side. Open at dotted lines. ? left hand gauntlet for an archer, the finger stalls being for thumb & first finger, & the flap to cover the joint between, where the arrow passed over. cp. 79 (c)
