3. Description (cont.) Position of strips reversed in case of ebony. Similar strips of ivory and ebony round whole panel, ivory strip in this case being inside. Small ivory bosses, stuck on with ebony pins, two at each corner of seat, one at top and bottom of each leg. All joints tongued. Ivory bosses mentioned above stuck through the tongues.

4. Remarks Cleaned with damp sponge. Loose pieces of ivory and ebony veneer restuck with celluloid cement.
