1. Position Under throne, resting on basket 97

2. Dimensions Wood 2.8 x 2 wide below handle: 3.3 x 2.2 at bend: 3.6 x 2 just above point.

3. Description of hard dark wood (cedar?). Roughly pointed. Handle consisted of a series of gold bands fitting close to the wood without intervention of gesso. Gold varied in thickness up to at least .5. The bands were cylinders: applied whole.

Ring of gold: ends divide & flatten after piercing cap & continue to pierce wood. Cap. 2.5 in diam, concave on under-side.
