101 (o) Wooden Head-rest.

Max. L. 28.5 W at bottom. 9.2: at top 9.5 Other dimensions see diagram on next sheet.

Made of hard reddish brown wood (cedar?). Of two pieces of wood, one dowelled into the other with a dowel 1.5 wide. At join wood has separated .2, representing amount of shrinkage in the wood. On either side of base figures of Bes in blue paint. On front and back of column a band of inscription in blue paint. Same both sides (see next card).

Treatment Washed with water: cleaned off white patches with acetone
