106 (c) Fragments of a large whitened jar of pottery.

Three large pieces and one small one, all of rim, not fitting together. Dull red ware: outside entirely covered with white wash.

Each of the three pieces had a hole .6 in diam, just below rim. In one hole a trace of rope remaining.

White coating is essentially carbonate of lime (whiting)
