3. (1) Construction of body (cont.) In outer edge of exterior supplementary frame, seven round holes arranged <> 64. ? use of these: may have been to take a leather apron, to protect front of body. Remains of leather thongs in these holes.

Lower circular framework projects 2.5 beyond floor bar, to form a boss.
