Below three cartouches, surmounted by disks and plumes, resting on nubs and flanked by two uraei, that on right with crown of Upper Egypt, that on left with crown of Lower Egypt. Cartouches Kheperunebre in centre, Tutankhamen on right, Ankhesnamen on left. Below again <> flanked by rekhyt birds. At bottom sam with a captive figure on either side.

Remaining space on either side of centre panel occupied by bands of ornamentation as follows - A. Rim decoration gone - probably gold. B. Narrow band of inlay - red, blue, green and gold <> C. Narrow band, rope pattern incised in gold. D. Narrow band, alternate inlaid disks of blue glass & translucent calcite with red paint back. Triangles between of green glass. Each disk had originally a centre cap of gold, glued on. Top ends of bands B, C & D irregular, and not matching on the two sides.
