Outside of body Wedge shaped panel in centre similar to that on inside, except that there were two captive figures on each side of sam at bottom instead of one. Other decoration exactly similar to inside, but omit the <> Red gold band round eye - panel missing on right side. This was found in Box 50. See 50 (tt 2).

At the bottom of the body, at back ends of sides and in centres of the curves, there had been attached four heavy objects, fastened to body by bronze pins. These had all been wrenched off, and have not yet turned up.

Treatment. Cleaned with water & ammonia: loose inlay stuck in with glue and celluloid cement. Waxed.
