(h) Dagger shaped object of wood with captive figure handle.

Figure in middle 3 wide 4 deep.

Captive covered with gesso & gold. Figure of African with tight fitting cap. Blade part must have been entirely covered. Hole for attachment from behind arms to bottom (see dotted lines) Purpose? May have been an imitation dagger in a sheath.

Treatment Cleaned with warm water. Treated with hot paraffin wax.
