170. Half a small faience dish

1. Position S.E. corner of chamber: behind saddle 165

2. Dimensions Diam. 10. H. 2.5.

3. Description Small flat faience dish. Colour now white: had been green (?)

Two more pieces which complete the dish found in 85 (f).

Treatment: Boiled repeatedly in water: one piece (from 85f) very discoloured: this boiled with caustic soda, then with acid, then repeatedly with water. Repaired with celluloid cement.
