181 Wooden Emblem, with black resinous coating.

1. Position In N.E. corner of sepulchral chamber, between outermost shrine and wall.

2. Dimensions Max. L. 47, W. 16.5, H. 44.5 H. of base 5.

3. Description Wood, covered with gesso, on which was laid a thick coating of black resinous paste. Emblem consisted of a hes vase between two pylons. The vase was made from a single piece of wood: in the pylons the cornice and torus moulding were separate pieces.

Treatment Washed with warm water repaired with glue: sprayed with acetone.
