3. Description
Oar of hard red wood, coated with black resinous material.
Eye in yellowish paint on one side of blade.
Possibly a model of the steering oar.

4. Treatment
Washed with water: sprayed with acetone: brushed over with thin coating of paraffin wax to
dull the glossy surface.
