229. Reed or rush ?Cane decorated with gold at top & bottom.

1. Position Between outermost and second shrines. Standing on left (south) side of doors. This stick was in the bag which contained the group 225-230.

2. Dimensions L. 181.3 Diam. above lower band 1.3 Diam. below upper band 1.8

3. Description Cane of bus farsi (?). Upper band a tube of gold 18 long. Diam. at end 2. Overlaying lower edge a band of plaited gold wire, imitating cord-work. Lower band of electrum tubing 13.4 long overall. At upper edge a band of plaited gold wire .5 wide. Ferrule a gold cap .7 wide. Diam. 1.4.
