230 Long plain wood staff - with bark decoration (see 212)

POSITION: South side of interior of first outermost coffin (see no. 212).

DIMENSIONS: L. 202 centimetres

DESCRIPTION: Long plain wooden stick with variegated black and gilt decoration at ends of stick The back of marqueterie inlay of garland type of decoration the gold merely broad bands of plain thin gold leaf.

REMARKS: Ends sprayed with celluloid dissolved in acetate.
