234. Gilt bow

1. Position Between outermost and second shrines: standing on left (south) side of doors.

2. Dimensions Max. L. 120.4 Diam. in centre 2.4, tapering to .9 at tips

3. Description. Bow entirely covered with gesso and overlaid with gold. The bow had no notches and can never have been meant for use.

4. Treatment. Cleaned with warm water and ammonia, and waxed.
