241 PLAIN WOOD BOW

POSITION: Original. Resting on cornice North side of shrine 238 (immediately above the bow 247 and group of arrows 248). It would appear that it had been forgotten and placed on cornice instead of on the ground with other objects mentioned above.

DIMENSIONS: L. 164. centimetres

DESCRIPTION: Plain wood bow wrapped in linen tied in six places with linen strips. Remains of its original string (decayed) at each end.

REMARKS: Cleaned with damp sponge.
