314 Boat. Lucas' Notes.

Painted Colours: - white, blue, green, canary-yellow, brownish-yellow, red and black No varnish. Much fungus growth, chiefly on brownish-yellow & white. None on canary-yellow. Treatment Brushed with dry brush Cleaned with benzine and soft brush Consolidated string of steering paddles with duroprene. Consolidated paint with celluloid solution. Top of cabin in very bad condition & loose. Stuck on loose pieces with celluloid cement.

Canary Yellow Pigment. Analysed specimen. Is natural sulphide of arsenic i.e. orpiment.
