Outer Coffin Painted portions cleaned with benzine Gilt cleaned with ammonia and water Black varnish cleaned with water Treated the whole surface repeatedly with celluloid dissolved in acetone Outer Coffin A little coarse quartz sand adhering to bottom outside Numerous dead insects embedded in black varnish inside

Inner coffin Cleaned with ammonia & water Treated with celluloid in amyl acetate
