Analyses.

No. 317 B 2 (Cranial cavity) This consists of disintegrated woven fabric (probably linen) impregnated and covered with minute crystals of common salt. There is no evidence of resin. No. 317 B 2. (Abdomen) Practically identical with the material from the cranial cavity. The white crystals are common salt. There is no evidence of resin. No. 317 B 2 (Material covering incision in abdomen) This gives negative tests for resin and for beeswax. It gives very definite positive tests for nitrogenous organic matter (i.e. animal matter) It is suggested that it consists of altered animal tissue.
