361. HASSOCK See Nos. 354 and 431, b.

POSITION: (See photos 1135, 1137). Cast on top of miscellanea below threshold of door-way.

DESCRIPTION: Fragments of a much decayed hassock, stuffed with papyrus-pith, and covered with applied leather (completely dissolved). The applied leather work was apparently decorated with rosettes studded with bronze studs.

(Dimensions probably the same as the bead examples found in this chamber.)
