These fragments of bow-strings are all made of gut (or the like); four strand (which are formed of several thin strands); and of the following thickenesses: - 4.5; 3.5; and 2.0 m/ms.

The loop around 'horn' is formed thus:

<> four strands passed through two strands two two strands and tied. four strands
