DESCRIPTION:
A pair of basket work sandals: - the fibre 'skains' upon which these 
are woven are from the fruit bearing stalks of the date-palm; 
the 'strokes' are narrow strips from the fronds of the
date-palm, or possibly the dôm-palm.
The toe and instep straps made of papyrus pith.
