418. WOODEN KIOSK CONTAINING SHAWABTI-FIGURES

POSITION: Centre of chamber, leaning against miscellanea including bedstead No. 466 (see photos Nos. 1138, 1140 and 1141).

DIMENSIONS: 61 cents. high, 20.5 cents. wide, and 21. cents deep.

DESCRIPTION: Wooden kiosk upon sledge, covered with black resin, of rough workmanship, vaulted roof (lid) cut out of one piece of wood, knob in front of roof and front of kiosk for cord & seal - seal intact but string decayed - the impression of seal the recumbent figure of the jackal-like dog Anubis over 9 alien foes.

CONTENTS: 20 wooden shawabti-figures (see 418, A to G) and 100 copper agricultural implements (see 418, H).
