423 AN ARYBALLOS (CALCITE)

POSITION: Lying on floor below threshold of doorway of chamber (see photo 1138).

DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 22.5, cents.

DESCRIPTION: A small calcite vessel in the form of an aryballos

REMARKS: Contents robbed - residue on bottom Portions of pith and linen binding round neck Lip badly broken - traces of it having been anciently repaired. A fragment found of lip in another part of the chamber.
