482 ATTENUATED VASE (CALCITE).

POSITION: On floor middle of chamber (see photos 1143, 1144).

DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 42.2 cents.

DESCRIPTION: An ovi-form vase with attenuated neck, wrought of semi-translucent calcite. Bowl ovi-form; circular foot; attenuated cylindrical neck with top piece added; small lip ribbed on edge. The bowl shows traces of it once having had two handles, as the lashing ornament around neck also suggests the former existence of handles. No ornamentation or inscription.

REMARKS: Contents robbed, slight residue on bottom. Slightly stained. Traces of a lid having been once luted on to the lip.
