508 WINE-JAR

POSITION: Lying on floor under a mass of material, towards N.W. corner of chamber - (see photos 1144, 1145, and 1147).

DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 67.0 cents.

DESCRIPTION: Buff pottery wine-jar; two loop handles; seal covering mouth and neck (top broken). Bears impressions of seal - (see type C.). Hole on side outlined with black ink and plastered over. Bears hieratic docket on shoulder (see photo). For type see No. 571.
