S. A gold ornament resembling decoration from harness or the like. This was found twisted & bent up, and was probably dropped by the tomb-plunderers.

It is of open-work, has traces of the scarlet tinting, and represents the King seated upon a chair (see throne) within a kind of shrine with the Queen standing before him offering him papyrus umbels; beneath the feet of the King & the Queen are two (Asiatic and African) prisoners. On either side the King as a human-headed sphinx offers the figure of truth <> upon a festival <> sign.

The shrine is surmounted by the winged solar-disc.
