589 FLAT ROUND BASKET (LARGE SIZE)
(cf. 591).           1

POSITION: - South end of chamber, under bedstead and stool 377 and 378. (See photo 1150.)

DIMENSIONS: - DIAM. 40.0; H. 16.0 cents.

CONTENTS: - A small round black kind of fruit (see 348, 400 and 591). Juniperus oxycedrus L.

DESCRIPTION: - The system is similar to that of No. 338, with the following exceptions: -

In place of the fibre 'skains' the thin natural wood of a (?) plant has been employed, and they are bound with the fronds of the date palm.

Only two examples of this class were found in the chamber - (see 591).
